Houston-native W. Austin Elam and Preston Moon, a native of Greensboro, N.C., both graduate students in the T.C. Jenkins Department of Biophysics at The Johns Hopkins University’s Krieger School of Arts and Sciences and in the university-wide Program in Molecular Biophysics, were among 20 students nationwide selected to receive the Biophysical Society’s 2011 Student Research Achievement Awards.
