Shriver Hall Concert Series 2010-2011 Season

Shriver Hall Concert Series, five-time winner of Baltimore magazine’s “Best Classical Music,” celebrates its 45th subscription season at 5:30 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 17, in Shriver Hall Auditorium on The Johns Hopkins University Homewood campus.

Panel discussion: “Closing the Achievement Gap”

The Johns Hopkins University School of Education will host a panel discussion on “Closing the Achievement Gap,” on Tuesday, April 27, at 6:45 p.m., in Gilchrist Hall on the Montgomery County Campus. Panelists will examine ways to improve educational opportunities for all students by identifying programs and strategies for raising achievement and closing gaps between white and minority students.

Peiyang Chorus to Perform at Johns Hopkins March 23

China’s renowned Peiyang Chorus of Tianjin University will perform at 7 p.m. on Tuesday, March 23 in Shriver Hall Auditorium at Johns Hopkins University’s Homewood campus, 3400 N. Charles St. in Baltimore. General admission tickets are $10 for the public and free to Johns Hopkins students with ID.
