This year’s theme is cybersecurity compliance and regulatory trends, and sessions will cover a range of topics on the challenges of cybersecurity, the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act, payment card industry compliance, threats to the Internet of Things, New York Department of Financial Services cybersecurity regulation, and General Data Protection Regulation.

The keynote address will be given by Phyllis Schneck, managing director at Promontory Financial Group. A Johns Hopkins University alumna, Schneck joined Promontory from the Department of Homeland Security, where she served as the deputy undersecretary for cybersecurity and communications and led responses to cybersecurity threats against corporations, civilians, and the government. During her DHS tenure, she led the defensive cybersecurity operational mission to mitigate and respond to cyber threats across the federal government and private sector.
