ADVISORY: JHU Experts Distill Coronavirus Facts in Web Event

Today a panel of Johns Hopkins University experts convened to offer facts on the outbreak of 2019 novel coronavirus (2019-nCoV), a virus that is spreading across the globe and has been declared a public health emergency by the World Health Organization and the U.S. government.

The 30-minute online event, sponsored by the university’s Bloomberg School of Public Health, addresses facts about coronavirus to best inform response, improve care and save lives.

Panelists included:

  • Dr. Tom Inglesby, Director, Bloomberg School Center for Health Security; Professor, Bloomberg School Department of Environmental Health and Engineering
  • Dr. Caitlin Rivers, Senior Scholar, Bloomberg School Center for Health Security; Assistant Professor, Bloomberg School Department of Environmental Health and Engineering
